Android Phones, Carriers, Samsung, Verizon
Today, we have some great news for those who own the Galaxy S III on Verizon Wireless. Samsung just announced that the upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will begin to roll out starting tomorrow. Even though Verizon is one of the last carriers to officially deploy Jelly Bean on the Galaxy S III, it’s better late than never.
According to Samsung, the Jelly Bean update will roll-out in phases starting tomorrow. Basically, many of you owners will not receive the update tomorrow, so be patient as the roll-out wave continues. In addition, users can manually request it from the settings page a week after the update goes live.
All of the Jelly Bean improvements will be in tow including Google Now and Project Butter. In addition, improvements to the camera functionality are also found within the update. Now, we have to wait patiently until Samsung rolls out Android 4.2.

They should roll out the updates based on when you bought your phone, so pre-orders would get it first …ie… my phone. So, theres no way that’ll happen. I’ll probably get it last because I used 20gigs of data last month… they hate it when you do that…
