The Nexus 4 by LG was the fastest selling item on the Google Play Store — and for good reason. In fact, many highly interested customers were unable to place an order because the device sold out quickly in many major markets. Unfortunately, for those who managed to snag a Nexus 4 and received a confirmation email, Google may place your device on back-order.
Google sent an email to some buyers and explained how the device may not ship until three weeks from now, which is sure to be a disappointment to many. Shipping orders will be waived by Google on orders that are now backordered, and users have the option to cancel their order if they should choose to do so.
Feel free to let us know in the comments whether or not you were able to purchase a Nexus 4 and avoid the back-order email.
