While it may not be the highly anticipated LG Optimus G, T-Mobile customers are going to have another solid mid-range Android smartphone shortly. The LG Optimus L9 was announced for T-Mobile earlier today and should reach the American market within the coming weeks.
In terms of specs and features, the L9 offers a 4.5 inch Gorilla Glass 2 display, Android 4.0, dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear facing camera, 2150mAh battery, and it measures in at 0.36 inch thickness. On the features side of the device, it offers QuickMemo and several camera enhancements to make taking pictures easier.
Unfortunately, exact pricing and availability information is not yet available. However, since it is a mid-range device, I imagine it will cost $99 or less on a two year contract.
