According to a national French newspaper known as Le Figaro, Google and LG will officially unveil and launch the Nexus 4 on October 29. That’s right, October 29th may be the official launch date as well as the announcement date. If so, Google will likely begin selling the Nexus 4 through its Google Play Store. As you can imagine, the specs and features are going to be high-end, but there is no specific mention of what software it will run.
As of now, we believe the Nexus 4 will offer a 4.7 inch touch screen HD display, quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 8MP rear facing camera, 2GB of RAM, at least 16GB of on board memory, NFC, and the latest version of Android. At the very least, the Nexus 4 will run stock Android 4.1.2, but hopefully it includes a revamped version of Android.
Feel free to keep October 29th marked on your calendar, I imagine we will have official confirmation on the announcement date for the next Nexus soon enough.
