The American variant of the high-end Sony Xperia T is going to be the Sony Xperia TL on AT&T.  The device is a nice follow up to the Xperia ion that launched earlier in 2012.  Taking a preliminary look at the Xperia TL, my only complaint is the fact that it is going to launch with just Android Ice Cream Sandwich on board.  However, AT&T reminds us that an update to Jelly Bean is in the near future for the Xperia TL.

Specs and features for the device includes a 4.6 inch 1080 x 720 display, Mobile BRAVIA Engine enhancer, NFC, 13MP rear facing camera, 1080p HD video recording, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0.4, and MHL connectivity.  Lastly, it will come with 4G LTE connectivity.

Unfortunately, pricing and availability details are not yet made available, but hopefully AT&T comes forward with this information in the coming weeks.
