According to some leaked images and training materials, we now have some solid information regarding an upcoming 4G LTE Android handset for Sprint. The leaked information reveals the Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE, which is a mid-range Android handset expected to sell at an affordable price point.
In terms of specs and features, interested consumers can expect a 4 inch touch screen display, Android 4.0, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4G LTE, 4GB of on board memory, 5MP rear facing camera, 1.3MP front facing camera, and a 2100 mAh battery. At a quick glance, the Galaxy Victory reminds me strongly of the Galaxy Stellar rumored to launch shortly on Verizon Wireless.
With the Galaxy S III leading the high-end onslaught, it makes sense for Samsung to target budget-conscious consumers with mid-range devices such as the Galaxy Victory. At this time, it is expected to launch sometime in September.
