LG and Qualcomm are going to host a joint press conference on September 19 in New York City.  Based on previous announcements, leaks, and today’s teaser invitation, it’s safe to say the star of the show will be the LG Optimus G.  The reason Qualcomm will be on hand is because the Optimus G is confirmed to contain the highly anticipated quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.

With the event taking place on September 19, we will be sure to keep you folks updated on the latest information from the event.  Just as a recap, the LG Optimus G is confirmed to have a 4.7 inch True HD IPS+ display with a 1280 x 768 resolution, Android 4.0, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity, 2100 mAh battery, 13MP rear facing camera, and a 1.3MP front facing camera.

Here’s to hoping LG keeps the price around the $199 mark and launches it on as many American carriers as possible.
