An XDA-Developers member recently posted an interesting tweet regarding the upcoming HTC One X+ Android smartphone.  The device, which hasn’t been officially announced, is expected to launch as an upgraded One X.  The major differences between the two phones is the processor and software.

According to the leaked specs in the tweet, the HTC One X+ is rumored to offer a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, the same display, Android 4.1, Sense 4.5, 32GB of on board memory, weighs 129g, and is 9.3mm thin.

HTC is holding an event on September 19, which could see the launch of the HTC One X+.  How well the HTC One X+ compares against the Galaxy S III, DROID RAZR MAXX HD, and the new iPhone remains to be seen.
