Unlock Verizon GS3 Bootloader using 1-click app method

Android apps, Carriers, Personalization, Samsung, Verizon
If you are looking for an easy and simple way to unlock the bootloader on your Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy S III, then you will be pleased to know an app is now available in the Google Play Store that will perform the deed in just one click.
A couple of days ago, we first reported that several devs were able to unlock the bootloader on the Verizon GS3, but this involved code manipulations on Linux or Mac OS X. The VZW GS3 EZ-Unlocked (Bootloader) app that recently launched in the Play Store will perform the unlock method assuming your device is already rooted. After unlocking the bootloader, users can run “non-kexec” AOSP roms.
As always, proceed at your own caution only if you know what you are doing. Be sure to let us know how the process goes if you choose to use the app method.

This is really awesome! Is there a one click root method for the Verizon s3 yet? Mac?
this doesnt work, it just says “that was easy” when you run it … but then i went to put a at&t sim in my verizon gs3 and it still said “not a verizon sim”
so it doesnt work
This isn’t to unlock the phone in a carrier sense. It unlocks the bootloader so you’re able to install custom versions of Android on it. It does work for what it says it does.
