Just as we suspected several days ago, the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE is officially going to launch this Sunday, August 19 for $199 on a two year contract.  In addition, pre-orders on the device begin today in case you prefer to secure your device instead of having to wait.  As a special bonus for those who pre-order, your device may ship on Friday, August 17, assuming there are enough supplies in stock.

The Photon Q is one of the best QWERTY devices in the market today, and assuming you live in an area with Sprint 4G LTE coverage, it really is going to be a fantastic device.  If you do not live in a Sprint 4G LTE zone, then the Photon Q will only be able to utilize 3G speeds.

In terms of specs and features, the device includes a 4.3 inch touch screen display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0, 4G LTE connectivity, 5 row slider QWERTY keyboard, 8MP rear facing camera that captures 1080p video, front facing HD camera for web conferencing, HDMI-out, and NFC connectivity.
