Sure, the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX is a great phone, but Verizon customers uninterested in the Samsung Galaxy S III are anxiously awaiting for the successor to the RAZR MAXX in form of the RAZR HD. We have already seen the ATRIX HD launch on AT&T, which is similar to what we imagine will launch on Verizon.
Fortunately, an image of the purported Motorola DROID RAZR HD recently leaked in the Droid Forums. One of the two pictures shows the backside of the RAZR HD fitted with Verizon’s signature 4G LTE logo, Kevlar casing, and an HD rear facing camera. The second image shows the About Phone page of the phone. More specifically, it reveals the DROID RAZR HD name, Android 4.0.4, and Verizon is specifically mentioned in the System version.
I imagine it is only a couple of weeks now before we see the DROID RAZR HD officially launch with Big Red. On-screen keys, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, a 720p resolution 4.5 inch display, and an 8MP rear facing camera are expected to round out the specs.
