According to a response to a user’s post on HTC’s Facebook account, it appears Android 4.0 for remaining devices will finally be finished and ready to go around the end of August.  Devices still waiting for its own serving of Android 4.0 include the HTC Droid Incredible 2, Thunderbolt, Desire S, and the Rhyme.

The exact response from an HTC employee reads:

Hey, John! Yes, The Thunderbolt is still set to receive ICS. We’re still planning to finish updates for all announced devices by the end of August. Thanks for remaining so patient!

With this in mind, it seems the Android 4.0 builds will be finished at the end of August, but may not begin hitting handsets until a week later.  We’re hoping HTC is able to keep its promise of finishing the updates by the end of the month and can deliver them in a timely manner.

We’ll check back in with HTC in a couple of weeks to see what progress has been made in getting ICS to the remaining four Android smartphones.
