If you own a 4G LTE powered device on AT&T, then you are able to receive expanded coverage in two states: Texas and Arkansas. AT&T announced earlier today that it is flipping on the switch for 4G LTE in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, and other towns in Arkansas. In Texas, the city of Waco now has 4G LTE coverage.
AT&T now has 4G LTE up and running in 53 markets across the United States. Just as a reference point, Verizon announced yesterday that is currently serves 371 markets and 75% of the U.S. population. While AT&T certainly has its work cut out, they are doing a great job of continually expanding coverage.
