An update was pushed out by SwiftKey for its SwiftKey 3 Android keyboard that brings native support for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and offers several improvements and bug fixes. The big part of the update is obviously Android 4.1 capability, but it’s nice to see SwiftKey constantly maintain and update its app.
The new version is known as Version 126.96.36.1992 and the bug fixes include missing secondary letters, missing predictions, and other ones not mentioned. As Android 4.1 begins to roll out to Nexus devices and eventually other consumer smartphones, it’s important for apps to become compatible with the new OS.
If you own SwiftKey 3, then you can download and install the update right now from the Google Play Store.
