It has been a crazy couple of weeks for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Initially, Google had to pull it off the shelves because of a patent issue with Apple. Google then decided to issue the Android 4.1 update for the Galaxy Nexus since it would take care of the patent dispute by modifying the search technology. When this happened, Google began taking orders once again, but informed the public it would be 2-3 weeks before it began shipping.
Today, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ unlocked model is back in stock on the Google Play Store and will be delivered in 3-5 business days. This is great news for AT&T and T-Mobile American consumers who want to experience Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on a solid Android smartphone. Google deserves a lot of credit for rectifying the patent issue with Apple in an efficient manner to bring the Galaxy Nexus back on the market.
