One of the most popular questions asked by individuals who switch cell phones is whether all of their data can be transferred to the new device.  Sure, there are many ways of transferring data easily, but not everyone is technically savvy enough — or are simply too lazy.  Samsung wants iPhone users to know there is an easy solution to transferring “iPhone and iTunes media – including music, videos, podcasts, pictures, contacts and text messages – to a Samsung Galaxy device including the new Galaxy S III.”

Samsung recently partnered with Media Mushroom to bring the application “Easy Phone Sync” to any Galaxy owner for free.  Granted, Samsung mentions this is only available free for U.K. users, but the app can be downloaded easily from the Google Play Store provided you have a Galaxy smartphone.  The Korean manufacturer is proud of the fact that users can continue to use iTunes to manage content, but it will sync with their Android Galaxy smartphone relatively easily, thanks to the Easy Phone Sync app.

Initial reviews have generally been positive of the Easy Phone Sync application.  If you have an iPhone managed by iTunes and are interested in switching to the Galaxy S III or other Galaxy devices, then Samsung recommends using the application to swiftly transfer pre-existing media and data.
