Even though Samsung is having a tough time keeping up with mounting demand for the Samsung Galaxy S III, President Mobile Communications, Shin Jong-kyun, believes the device will surpass 10 million sales in July. In addition, Samsung reveals it is working closely with mobile component suppliers in order to ramp up production and meet carriers’ needs.
The onslaught of the Galaxy S III began on May 29 when it launched in the European market, and by the end of July, the Galaxy S III will be available through 300 different carriers across 147 countries. Samsung is definitely putting itself in a good position to meet the 10 million mark by giving consumers a variety of options to purchase the Galaxy S III.
It’s hard to pinpoint where the Galaxy S III stands at this moment in terms of sales, but the Samsung exec fully believes it will reach the 10 million milestone by July — after two months of its launch.
