Samsung Galaxy S III pre-orders are nothing new for Americans as we have had numerous opportunities to do so with AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless for a good week and a half. Unfortunately, the price for pre-orders through the carriers has been a strict $199 on a two year contract for the base 16GB model in either color. Customers looking to save a little bit on the intial cost of the device have been unable to do so…until today.
Third party retailers, Wirefly and Amazon, have begun conducting pre-orders for the GS3 and customers can save a little bit on AT&T and Sprint models. To begin, Amazon Wireless offers the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III for individual upgrades for just $149.99. In addition, shipping is free and should arrive as soon as possible.
Next, we have the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III through Wirefly, which has the model for $179.99 on a two year contract for new accounts and upgrades alike. Granted, interested customers only save $10, but at least it is something. Wirefly also has free shipping and it should arrive by June 22.
The bottom line here is that there are options other than the carriers and sometimes you may even find lower prices.
