Motorola’s presence in AT&T’s Android lineup is better known as the Atrix series. The Atrix devices contain promising hardware but usually contain disappointing MotoBlur skins and launch at less than ideal times. However, if AT&T launches the rumored Atrix 3 at a good time and with a smart price point, it could be a successful Android smartphone.
According to a recent press image leak, the Motorola Atrix 3, also known as the Motorola Dinara, features Android 4.0, MotoBlur, a large 720p HD display, and a Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1.5GHz processor. Interestingly enough, the device has on-screen navigation buttons, which are similar to the Galaxy Nexus buttons. It will likely launch as a 4G LTE smartphone since Motorola’s Android phones typically contain a 4G LTE radio now.
A potential launch date for the Atrix 3 is July 26, but that is simply a rumor at this time — much like the photo above. We’re hoping some more information such as pricing and specific specs leaks in the coming weeks.
