It might seem like there’s a hot new Android phone every month, but that doesn’t mean you should neglect the last how new phone because it’s still very much new and very much exciting. And if you’re interested in becoming a Sprint customer, it can be very much affordable.

AmazonWireless has the HTC EVO 4G LTE temporarily on sale for $49.99 on a two year agreement. The deal applies only to new Sprint customers or users adding a new line on the Now Network, but it’s kind of a bargain for a very solid phone. The latest EVO debuted a few weeks ago for $199 retail price and it’s already available at a quarter of the original price.

Amazon told us that this is “a limited time only, so customers will have to act fast before it’s too late.” No official word on when this promotion will be discontinued, but you can head over to Amazon store and check for yourself right now.

The EVO 4G LTE made a big impression when it was unveiled last April, and not just because it has a 4.7-inch screen. The device also has good call quality, HTC Sense running with Android 4.0, a versatile kickstand, and a 2,000 mAh battery. Despite some early hiccups in customs, the phone has been pleasing to many. Grab it if you like the specs and aren’t interested in the Galaxy S III.
