Ever since HTC announced its high-end One series of Android smartphones, customers of AT&T have been anxiously awaiting the debut of the flagship One X Android smartphone. According to a recent AT&T announcement, the One X will launch on AT&T starting May 6 for $199 on a two year contract. If you cannot wait until May 6 to buy the One X, then you will be pleased to know it will be available for pre-order starting April 22 for the same price.
In terms of specs and features, the One X boasts a 4.7 inch touch screen display with a 720p resolution, Android 4.0, HTC Sense 4, Beats Audio, a quality 8MP rear facing camera, a dual-core Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz processor, and an 1,800 mAh processor. Lastly, it also features 4G LTE support for AT&T’s growing LTE network.
With the One S slated to launch in the near future on T-Mobile, it’s nice to see AT&T prepare to launch its own high-end One X. Again, it will be available for purchase on May 6 with $199 with pre-orders beginning in just four days.
