Temple Run

For quite a few months, Android users could only sit by restlessly watching their friends with iDevices playing Temple Run.  Fortunately, the day for proud Android owners to play Temple Run is just a couple of weeks away.  On March 27th, Temple Run will launch on the Android Market through Imangi Studios.  In addition, the game will be available for free on the Market and is sure to provide hours of entertainment.

If you are skeptical of how well Temple Run was received in the Apple Appstore, then consider a few stats published by Imangi Studios.  Temple Run became the Top Grossing app and the Top Free App during the month of January.  Moreover, it has been downloaded over 40 millions times since it launched on iOS in August of 2011.

While Imangi Studios has not mentioned which versions of Android will support the game, I imagine anything higher than Android 2.0/Android 2.1 will be fine.  Again, in just three short weeks, Temple Run will finally be available on Android for the vast majority of users to enjoy.
