Even though the guys at HTC claimed a while back that they were only planning to release a handful of snappy Android-based smartphones in 2012, it’s becoming more and more likely that we will in fact see a bunch of such gadgets hitting the market soon.

The One S, V and X have already been made official and are ready to be released, while a couple of other HTC manufactured smartphones are apparently standing by waiting for their own launches.

The Incredible 4G, also known as the Fireball or the ADR6410, gained WiFi certification a while back and passed through the FCC less than two weeks ago and now we have on our hands its first leaked benchmark.

Suspected to be an exclusive Verizon product and to hit the market in April, the Incredible 4G will most definitely be powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. Also, given the fact that the benchmark below says that the HTC ADR6410 tested is using the Qualcomm Adreno 225 GPU, it’s safe to assume that the smartphone will in fact feature an S4 Snapdragon chipset.

Those are pretty good news, if you ask me, and the benchmark also confirms that the smartphone will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and that it will sport a 960 x 540 pixels resolution screen (probably a 4.3-incher, but there’s no way to know for sure).

As for the actual NenaMark 2 benchmark results, these are pretty good (58.2) and should make the device a mid-range to high-end smartphone once it will be released.

The second HTC smartphone to surface these days is a very mysterious one, codenamed VAE_WX. Powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz S4 Snapdragon processor, the gadget will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and sport a 960 x 540 pixels resolution screen.

As you might expect given the fact that it is powered by a slightly snappier chipset than the Incredible 4G, the VAE_WX gained a better NenaMark 2 score and will probably be as high-end a gadget as they come nowadays.

For the time being, we know very little about this so-called VAE_WX smartphone, but it’s safe to assume that it will be unveiled soon enough, so stay tuned on our website to find out all there is know about the gadget, as well as about the Droid Incredible 4G.
