Even though it’s officially spring for almost two weeks now, we didn’t catch any booming sale or special offers these past days to celebrate the passing of this cold horrible winter. That’s up until today, when Amazon Wireless and Sprint kicked off what can be easily called one of the best deals in 2012, at least for the time being.

All of Sprint’s 4G smartphones (no less than eight cool Android-based products) are available for one penny (which is practically free, isn’t it?) starting today and through 11:59 p.m. PDT on March 26th 2012.

That’s a cool two weeks for you to decide what gadget to go for from Sprint’s more than generous 4G offer. Of course, the deal is only valid while supplies last, which means that the old ‘’you snooze, you lose’’ saying should be your motto starting today.

As I already mentioned, Sprint’s offer is as varied as it comes and, no matter what your needs, desires and preferences are, you should find the perfect smartphone over at Amazon Wireless. The Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch and the S II Epic Touch in white are by far the stars of this special offer, but the HTC Evo Design, Evo Shift, Samsung Nexus S, Samsung Epic and HTC Evo 3D are themselves pretty cool devices to own right now.

The last three smartphones on sale are the Motorola Photon, Samsung Conquer and HTC Evo 3D in plum, which are probably not on many shopping lists at the moment, but are still decent gadgets packing mid-range tech specs and running our beloved Android 2.3 Gingebread.

As for eligibility terms and conditions, the offer is of course only valid for new clients or new activations, including a new individual account, family account, or a new line to an existing account. There is one exception to this rule, however, the Samsung Conquer, available for a penny both for new Sprint clients and for existing users part of an individual or family account.
