If you are one of our faithful readers (shame on you if you aren’t!), you probably remember a nice deal we presented just a couple of weeks back, offering the 16 GB Toshiba Thrive for 279.99 dollars.
However, if you didn’t manage to get your hands on a Thrive on that occasion and you are still looking for a cool and powerful 10-inch Android tablet at a fair price, the nice guys at Woot.com have yet another great deal.
Only today you can get a refurbished 32 GB Toshiba Thrive for 319.99 dollars (plus five bucks for shipping), which is a whole $150 less than the current 10-incher’s list price on most online stores. For that kind of money you get a slate with a 90 day warranty from Toshiba, meaning that you are covered if, God forbid, you receive a faulty device.
For those of you who are not familiar with the Toshiba Thrive (once again, shame on you!), this has been one of the most successful Android-operated 10-inch tablets in 2011. Coming with a not very elegant, but extremely sturdy exterior, Toshiba’s slate has impressed with its wide range of ports (there’s full-sized HDMI, a full-sized USB 2.0 connector, an SD card slot, as well as a mini USB 2.0 port on it), but also with its high level of performance.
I know, Nvidia Tegra 2 and Android Honeycomb 3.1 is pretty much a thing of the past with the release of Tegra 3 and ICS, but for just over 300 bucks these should be pretty satisfying in terms of gaming, multimedia use or number of apps you gain access to.
If you are still not convinced about this tablet’s power and functionality, you can check out our own Toshiba Thrive review here, after which I’m dying to see what excuse you’ll find to not take advantage of Woot’s great deal today.
