Acer unveils the Android 4.0 Iconia Tab A510 with quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3

After unveiling the Iconia Tab A700 10-inch tablet with Android 4.0 and quad-core Tegra 3 processor, a second similar slate has been spotted at Acer’s exhibition booth in Las Vegas.
The Iconia Tab A510 should hit the market in the coming months for a yet to be specified price and, except for one little detail, it looks exactly like the A700.
There’s a 10.1-inch display, a 1.3 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core chipset, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, dual cameras (a 5 MPx rear-facing shooter and a 2 MPx front-facing webcam), as well as Wireless, optional 3G, a microSD card slot, a microHDMI port and a USB 2.0 connector.
However, the screen sported by the A510 is not as capable as the one found on the A700, featuring a 1280 x 800 pixels resolution (the A700 came with a 1920 x 1200 pixels res display). The A510’s screen should be pretty decent nevertheless and you should be able to run HD content with an overall good image quality level.
Other details and features are still kept under wraps by the guys at Acer for the moment, so there might be some surprises (pleasant or unpleasant) regarding the RAM, battery life or internal storage space.
As I already mentioned, the availability and pricing details are themselves ‘’confidential’’ for the time being and, as much as we would like to take some guesses about these, we would rather wait it out and see exactly what Acer has in store for us.

Nope…now that they've announced high res tablets…everyone is just going to wait
I've been happy with my A500, so I would purchase another Acer product. Probably A700. Here's where I think they should be.
A200 – $199 – Competes with Kindle
A510 – $350 – Middle Tier value prop.
A700 – $499 – Competes with iPad
Why didn't they align the series numbers? A200, A510, A700? That seems goofy.
