While you and your friends get together this weekend to discuss the need for a playoff in NCAA football, you’re probably going to order pizza. Perhaps you want to make that order through the recently-released Papa John’s Pizza app.

The Papa John’s Pizza Android app allows users to make an order completely through their phone. Using GPS or a home address, it locates nearby Papa John’s that offer delivery or takeout, then allows customers to order a pizza or build one with their choice of toppings. The full menu of sides and drinks is also available, as well as specials offered by the company.

Papa John’s has a promotion going that anyone who places an order through the app can get 25% off the final cost. That excludes the “Special Offers” tab and only applies to orders from the Full Menu. Registration for a PapaJohns.com account and being near a store in the United States is required for this deal.

And if you’re in the hunt for some pizza, you probably want a Galaxy Nexus. From now until December 31, 2011, the Papa John’s Facebook page will award a GNex everyday to a random contest entrant. Enter by Liking the Facebook page and filling entering your contact information to participate (be sure to uncheck items asking to contact you with more offers). A complete list of rules is available here.
