Are you someone who listens to music on a mobile device but think that the latest Kings of Leon album isn’t done justice through your paltry phone speakers? Well, maybe you should add a little more oomph with the Logitech Mini Boombox.

Announced today at a $99.99 price point, the Logitech Mini Boombox is a battery-powered (USB and power outlet also available) speakerbox that can stream your music at a higher level. The speaker uses Bluetooth audio to wirelessly pair devices and then play music, meaning you can stream your Google Music, Grooveshark, Pandora, Spotify, or locally-stored music easily.

There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack in case you want a direct connection. And should you get the urge to reach out and touch someone between songs, the Mini Boombox also supports Bluetooth HFP 1.5 for hands-free voice calls.

On device controls, 10 hours of battery life, and a light size make this a portable accessory. Logitech claims that users will get better sound from this speaker because a “specifically designed acoustic chamber delivers great sound with enhanced bass.” Users can validate those claims for themselves by placing a $99 pre-order at Logitech.com. The device comes in all black or black with red accents, but no delivery date has been shared.
