Well, it looks like a tester that goes by the YouTube name of worldofjohnboy, has decided to give us all a tease of the HTC Rezound in a nearly five-minute unboxing presentation. Seemingly every tech journalist in the free-world has referred to this device as the HTC Vigor at one point or another. Judging from the video, this phone is more than likely a “pre-production,” but giving a simple eye test the model looks pretty finished for the most part.

The HTC Rezound aka Vigor packs some impressive features, confirmed specs from the video includes:

  • 1.5GHz dual-core processor (likely Snapdragon S3)
  • 4.3-inch 720p HD screen (1280×720 resolution)
  • 1GB of RAM
  • Sense 3.5 along with Beats Audio
  • Support for Verizon’s 4G LTE
  • 8 megapixel rear-facing camera
  • 2 megapixel front-facing camera
  • Android 2.3.4 (or 2.3.5) Gingerbread
  • Exclusive Dropbox 5GB of cloud storage

Furthermore, users can expect a Beats Audio logo, as the device will carry the popular sound system inside. This should come to no one’s surprise, especially since HTC and Beats announced their partnership a couple of months back. Thanks to the video, we got a glimpse under the battery cover, which was a site to see, as HTC matched the device’s innards with the outside hardware — something every manufacturer should follow. The Rezound without a doubt will be a nice attention to Verizon Wireless’s holiday roster of smartphones.

Unfortunately, no one knows when this beauty will launch exactly, but I’m sure details will drop within the next couple of days. Check out the hands-on video of HTC’s latest and let us know what you think.
