Today, Google has given us another update to Google Shopper that brings some interesting features to the application. The new update enhances the user experience for those shopping obsessed in finding the best deals anytime, anywhere at any place. This upgrade brings in some welcomed features such as:

  • +1 your favorite products
  • Save products to your shopping list and continue researching on Google Product Search
  • Discover nearby offers for spas and salons in the new “pamper” category
  • Receive notifications for Google Offers
  • Bug fixes

Honestly, I see Google Shopper playing a major part into the success of Google Wallet (checkout our review). If Wallet is the main entree then Shopper is an excellent side dish. I’ve been using the app a little bit more compared to the past, and it has vastly improved when it comes to searching for products.

Google has been keeping real busy as of late, the search giant just gave the Google Docs app a complete redesign for its Honeycomb tablets with a new 3-panel design on the home screen. Recent design changes reflect the theme of Google Plus, Docs has been reformatted to have a panel showcasing filtering options (Owned by Me, Starred, All Items, My Collections, Collections shared with me), a list of files, and a preview pane on the far right.
