Just last week, we put out a reminder that the Big Android BBQ is happening in Austin, Texas next month. Now, is helping one lucky reader attend this awesome gathering with our Take Me to Texas Android BBQ giveaway.

We know that not everyone can afford to make the trip to Austin, so we’re going to help out by purchasing someone’s flight to the event. If you can get the time off from work or school, enter now and come hang out with some of your Android friends.

From now until September 9, 2011, is accepting submissions on Facebook, Google Plus, and Twitter. On your preferred social network, make a public post mentioning us and you’ll be entered into the Take Me to Texas competition. Be sure to mention us so because that’s the only way to find you. Here’s the text to enter:

  1. This contest is open only to legal residents of the continental United States (all U.S. states except Alaska and Hawaii). Void where prohibited.
  2. The winner will receive one (1) round-trip flight to Austin, Texas. Arrival date will be September 30 or October 1, and the return flight will be Monday, October 3rd.
  3. Contest pays only for airfare; winner is responsible for paying for BBQ ticket and hotel. (Staybridge Suites Austin, host of the event, offers a discount to anyone booking with the “AND” coupon code.)
  4. All entries must be submitted by Friday, September 9, 2011, at 3 PM ET. We will contact the winner the same day and request his or her real name – as it appears on your driver’s license or state-issued ID – to purchase the ticket.
