Well it looks like another financial institution has decided to add its services to the Android Market. Finally, Capital One has released a mobile banking app for Android smartphones. Cap One joins the many financial companies on the market that allow users to check balances, transfer funds, and pay bills all on the go.
Setup is fast and easy — use your existing online login information to get started right away. All customers with devices running Android 1.6-2.3 will be able to: Pay bills, find ATMs and branches, view Rewards information, view recent transactions, transfer funds between banking accounts and lastly, contact customer service. Unfortunately, there isn’t any support for Android tablets just yet, but this app at least provides a solution for those times that you can’t get to a computer.
The Capital One Mobile Banking app will be very convenient for people who have waited seemingly forever. I wonder what took so long? With all of these Financial institutions in the Market, it will be interesting to see which company adapts fastest when it comes to NFC support. Hit our install button for the Android Market link below to start taking advantage of the Capital One Mobile Banking app.
