Cut the Rope is an addictive puzzle game with cutesy graphics and sound effects in the same vein as Angry Birds. By slashing ropes and coming up with clever ways to use the game’s physics engine, you need to avoid various enemies and obstacles in order to bring the candy to a creature called “Om Nom.” Just like Angry Birds, the game also lets you collect stars.
The iOS version of Cut the Rope is very popular, and an official Android port has been rumored for a while. ZeptoLab, the company that according to itself is “dedicated to the science of fun,” has now announced via Twitter that the Android version of Cut the Rope is just around the corner.

A specific release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but all those who have been waiting for the Android port will soon get what they want. The iOS version has 100 levels, and hopefully the Android release will bring an equal amount of entertainment. Both the teaser video and the game’s main introduction are embedded below.
