We’re only days away from Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and on Sunday we will get all the goods on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. Thanks to online electronics retailer Expansys, we now have the full spec sheets for a number of anticipated devices even before their official announcements. Of course, we can?t be sure they?re 100% accurate, but these specifications seem to be legit.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 is said to pack a dual-core Qualcomm 8260 1.2GHz processor, and not Samsung?s own Exynos 4210 CPU (Orion).? It will also come with a 4.3-inch WVGA SAMOLED Plus touchscreen and it will be able to capture 1080p HD video with its 8MP camera. Other features include a 2MP front-facing shooter, NFC support, HDMI out, HSPA+, and DLNA, as well as mobile hotspot support.
According to Expansys, the HTC Desire HD2 will feature the same dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor as the Galaxy S2, and it will pack a qHD (960×540) Super LCD display and 8MP camera with 1080p video recording. The technical details says that the screen of the HD2 is 3.3-inches, but that must be a typo since it most likely will be 4.3-inches or more.
You can read the full specs for the new phones in the screen shots below. Is this what you had expected, or had you hoped for even more powerful hardware for these successors?
