It’s certainly not the fanciest of videos, and doesn’t come close to the wow-factor of the Toshiba tablet teaser site we saw a few weeks ago. But, LG has put out a teaser video for the upcoming G-Slate. The bare-bones video does a quick 360 of the tablet and shows off the:

  • 8.9″ HD capacitive touchscreen capable of 3D display (although the screen isn’t actually turned on while they talk about this feature)
  • 2MP front-facing camera
  • 3D stereoscopic rear-facing camera capable of 3D video capture or 1080p video capture
  • Digital zoom and LED Flash
  • Volume up and down (they’re sparing no expense here!)
  • Stereo speakers (oddly placed on the same narrow edge of the tablet, so if you’re watching video in landscape mode, the “stereo” sound will be emanating from basically the same spot.)
  • HDMI output (and it does look like a full HDMI plug, not a mini)
  • Micro-USB port
  • Connectors for a docking station
  • Power port, 3.5″ headphone jack, power/lock button
  • Speaker (this one is on the opposite edge to the “stereo” speakers, so I’m hoping this is actually one of the pair of stereo speakers, because the way they point out each bit in the video just doesn’t make sense.)
  • Tegra 2 dual-core processor (for multitasking and gaming!)
  • Adobe Flash 10.1
  • 32GB internal memory
  • 10 hours of battery life while watching video (this marks the first time I’m genuinely impressed by the video.)
  • gyroscope and accelerometer

Overall, a fairly nice stack of specs in a bland package. Are you guys getting excited?
