The ever popular puzzle game Angry Birds just got updated to version 1.51, and it seems to be a pretty major new release from the folks at Rovio Mobile in snowy Finland, Scandinavia.
The update includes no less than 30 new levels, and a Wild West themed episode called Ham ‘Em High. There’s some obvious wordplay going on there, and the name of the episode alludes to the 1968 Clint Eastwood western Hang ‘Em High, with a bit of pork thrown in. The latest release from Rovio also includes a graphics toggle for lower-end devices.
Like Andrew reported earlier, there will be a special ad for the Rio movie during Super Bowl on Sunday. The commercial will contain a hidden clue that will unlock a special level in Angry Birds.
We’ll soon see even more of the infuriated poultry, since Rovio and 20th Century Fox have joined forces to create a new game called Angry Birds Rio. You can check out the trailer for the Rio game below.

They want sms permission…. kidding me… uninstalled
I read on another site that Rovio says it is a mistake about SMS permission being on the list. They said it would be changed on Monday.
I take that back. Now today they say it has to do with being able to make in app purchases. You verify that you want to make the purchase by SMS.
Angry birds has vanished from my market and the update does not show under 'My Apps' in the market? Wildfire UK
The exact same thing happened to me as well. Only Angry Birds seasons appears
What happens if you try to install it via the Market on the web?
The phone drop down box is greyed out saying the phone is not compatible
The update will not install. It keeps flashing back from update to install, but nothing happens. Please advise.
Meh, I've had enough Angry Birds, and enough of Physics based games in general. Mobiles are looted with 'em…. I've just done my time, now I'm pretty much set on emulators when it comes to entertainment.
