Swappa is a cool idea, but needs more people

A new website has popped up called Swappa. It’s intent is to set up a place where users can easily buy and sell Android phones. The idea is to allow people to upgrade to a new phone cheaper, get a new device without renewing your carrier plan, and of course get some cash for an older device.
I like the idea, and it’s nice to have a centralized service for this rather than scouring Craigslist or eBay. Unfortunately, as with any site like this, it needs users, and inventory. Right now, the site has 52 different devices listed so users can try to sell anything from a G1 to a Kyocera Zio, or right up to a Droid X. However, for potential buyers, there are only 19 phones currently up for sale on the site.
The site is looking for “lightly used” phones, but they do fully accept rooted phones running Cyanogen.
The site is completely free to list or buy a phone, but if you sell a phone on the site, Swappa will take a $10 sales fee.

Swappa is cool, and it does need more buyers and sellers. Mentioning it on Androinica should help drive users. Thanks!
We just blogged about it too, and I listed a phone. Great idea, hope it takes off.
