LG Optimus 2X preorder

Presumably thinking the early bird catches the most pre-orders, Scandinavian retailer is already letting people stand in a virtual line to buy the recently announced LG Optimus 2X.

The Optimus 2X, formerly known as the Star, is the first phone in the world that’s powered by a dual-core processor — the system-on-a-chip Tegra 2 by Nvidia. The fact that Scandinavians can reserve a copy of the device this early should mean that LG’s latest and greatest is going to hit European shelves within a reasonable time frame, although no delivery date is stated on the page. is charging SEK 4999 for the 4-inch, Tegra 2 touting smartphone unlocked, and according to my calculations that’s currently the equivalent of $730 U.S and 550. Over 700 dollars seems like a lot of money for the 2X, but like most currencies, the American dollar fluctuates, and 10 years ago SEK 4999 would apparently have been worth just $500.

Has anyone discovered pre-order pages for the LG Optimus 2X in any other regions yet?
