U.S. Cellular has started offering better smartphones since the company embraced Android. Now, the carrier is trying to entice users attracted to those phones by sealing the deal with more affordable and feature-rich calling plans.

Today, U.S. Cellular announced the Primary Plus Plan for $69.99 per month. For the costs, customers will get 450 voice minutes, free incoming calls, free nights and weekend, and free mobile-to-mobile. On the data side, customers get unlimited text messaging, and up to 5 GB of data transfer for sharing pictures, viewing or uploading videos, general web browsing, and free navigation.

Primary Plus makes U.S. Cellular more competitive with plans offered by bigger carriers like Sprint and Verizon. U.S. Cellular doesn’t offer the same level of coverage and options as the big boys, but for people interested in the carrier, this is a great plan to pair with your Samsung Mesmerize.
