Good news for Sprint subscribers, since the carrier now has expanded its 4G coverage in the U.S. by launching WiMAX in six additional cities, bringing its total number of 4G markets to 68 nationwide. The following cities have been added, where people now can enjoy potential download speeds of 5 Mbps – 7 Mbps:

- Los Angeles
- Miami
- Cleveland
- Cincinnati
- Columbus
- Washington D.C.

The company that’s building the 4G WiMAX network is Clearwire, of which Sprint is the majority shareholder. Next in line to get 4G from Sprint is San Francisco, and the carrier expects WiMAX to hit the city on December 28th.
