The official Android app from Chase Bank is now available for people looking to manage their money on their mobile device. That even includes the Quick Deposit feature which allows Chase customers to remotely deposit checks by taking a photo of a check and have the information uploaded to Chase.
For now, Chase Mobile can provide the most basic and important functions. Once a customer receives and enters an access code from Chase, sent via text message, they can view the account balances associated with their Chase online ID. The app supports bill pay, monitoring due dates, and reading minimum payment amounts for credit cards. Chase customers can also monitor the transaction history of their debit account.
Chase taps into your location to pinpoint nearby ATM’s and banking centers should you ever need to get your hands on some cash or deposit checks the old fashion way. There’s also support information for contacting Chase over the phone or web. The app works on all versions of Android is available for free in the Android Market right now. Install this app if you are a Chase customer.

UPDATE: This post originally stated that this app does not have the Quick Deposit feature but Chase notified us that the feature is available.

you need to edit this article where it reads “The application lacks the iPhone’s ability to remotely deposit checks by taking a photo of a check with the phone, but that feature is expected to arrive in a future update.” this feature is available…

Yeah I read the original post before I downloaded and noticed that it does have the quick deposit feature My recent post Software Spotlight- Greenshot
No available on market right now???
My handset says the app cannot be located while attempting to install. Any ideas?
Deposit NOT available for former WaMu customers, and Chase customer support has no idea when it will be. They apparently are not telling anyone, so you have to dig out the info for yourself. Confusing, considering the number of post all over the web about how it works so well, but no mention of its limitations.
former WaMu customer, and I have no trouble with remote deposit feature.
This new quickdeposit android app is the best thing to be added to banking in the last 100 years, how convenient.
I downloaded and installed the latest Chase Android ap, can see my balances and pay bills but have not located anywhere where I can deposit a check??
Ops, I found out how to do it.
