The Advent Vega is a 10-inch Android Internet tablet powered by Froyo and the system-on-a-chip Tegra 2 running at 1GHz. For £249, the Vega offers 512MB of RAM, “four finger” multitouch support on a capacitive touchscreen with a 1024×600 resolution, and the device is said to feature a fully working Android Market as well.
The Advent Vega was released in the UK today, and since this morning it has been for sale from PC World and Dixons for £249. That is, until the unit sold out in just a few hours “due to unprecedented demand”, and it won’t be back in stock until next week.
The £249 price tag of the Vega seems comparatively low considering what you get in return, and it’s logical that the tablet proved to be so popular. Any UK residents out there that managed to buy this bad boy before it sold out?

Yes, expected to have it in my hands by Thursay next week! Don't beleive it to have Android Market on it but will post again when I know. Informed by PC World it will work with a MIFI device, but providers of said device know nothing about it.
Congrats! Hope you will have a lot of fun with it.
