At an event in London last month, HTC announced two new devices – the Desire HD and Desire Z, that both feature the next version of the Sense UI with HTCSense.com integration. The 4.3-inch Desire HD, Europe’s own updated rendition of the Evo, can now be ordered from T-Mobile in the UK for free so to speak, if you agree to pay a minimum of £40 per month on a 2-year contract. There is also a £10/month contract that involves a £320 price tag for the device, and a £45/month plan as well if you want the Desire HD for free on an 18 month contract.
Besides the 4.3-inch SLCD, WVGA capacitive touchscreen, the HTC Desire HD features an 8MP camera with dual LED flash and 720p video recording, a 1GHz processor, 1.5GB of internal storage, a whopping 768 MB of RAM, Android Froyo, and the device has a solid, aluminum-body. Is the Desire HD worth paying £40 a month for, or is it too steep? Head over to T-Mobile UK for more details.
