Rumor: HTC Lexikon could be Verizon’s next DROID powerhouse
September 20, 2010 | by Chris Smith
HTC, Verizon
We all know that the popularity of the Verizon DROID line is here to stay, especially if they keep adding more and more desirable phones. It looks like a new device could be coming under the DROID name, the touchscreen/QWERTY HTC Lexikon.
There aren’t too many details about the device other than the leaked image plus some internals spec goodness, but we have to say that this device looks rather hot. The HTC Lexikon may feature a 3.8″ WVGA touchscreen display, a MSM7630 processor clocked at 800Mhz (same as the G2 and the Desire Z), Android Froyo 2.2, and probably the latest version of the infamous HTC Sense. From all accounts this is probably the full QWERTY landscape slider that we saw a couple of weeks ago hit the FCC. All I know is that HTC makes a sweet keyboard so it’s nice to finally see a high-end Android device come out with one on the Nation’s leading network.
Other than that, it is somewhat disheartening that the processor is only clocked at 800Mhz as the Incredible is clocked a tad high. It probably won’t be that big of a deal to most consumers plus the dev community will get ahold of this and create kernels to overclock the device anyways.

Wanna see what the keyboard for this device look like? We all have seen it before, just didn't realize they were the same phone.
Have a look at this thread:
