If you’ve ever wanted to say hello to me, you can get your chance tonight in Hialeah. I’ll be making a stop at the Droid R2-D2 party at the Verizon Wireless located at 1599 West 49th Street, Hialeah, 33012 (provided that this whole tropical depression thing doesn’t put a kibosh on the event).

Verizon is hosting a number of launch parties for its limited edition Star Wars-themed phones, complete with a costume party and giveaways. It will also give users a chance to purchase the Droid R2-D2 for $249 after rebate with a new 2-year agreement. So if you see me out there, feel free to say “Hello” or “Hola” since we’re in Hialeah, after all.
