I remember the day when we used to be surprised when new cell phones and electronics came into existence. It seems that we obtain more and more leaked information about devices sooner and sooner. This leak comes way of AndroidGuys receiving exclusive information about the forthcoming HTC world phone for Verizon Wireless. According to AndroidGuys’ source the device will not be available until sometime in 2011.
The device is a full QWERTY, landscape slider, includes a 4″ touchscreen, Android 2.2, ability to run on GSM networks, and is speculated to have a 1.2Ghz processor. Of course since the release of this device is so far off, any of these features could change because of its prototype nature. Nonetheless, it does look like Verizon/HTC/Android are about to enter the likes of other world phone providers and make a device that will be able to handle the best of both worlds.
So what do you think? Is this just another step in the evolution of Android phones or do you think that this phone will be enough to make you ditch your current Android?
