Samsung was pretty quiet on that other Android phone that it released, failing to advertise the Behold II until months after its release. Samsung must have learned from that mistake because it’s wasting no time in delivering the first commercial for the Samsung Captivate, AT&T’s version of the Galaxy S phone.
The commercial starts out with a scene from a war epic, and then turns into something else to show off the Captivate. Interestingly, this advertisement references the Samsung Galaxy S even though it clearly shows the Captivate and AT&T branding. So take a look and share with us what you think. Is the commercial good or bad? Imaginative or irrelevant?
Whichever side of the issue you’re on, it’s good to see that Samsung has at least wised up and decided to put a big push behind its Android devices. I expect to see similar campaigns for the T-Mobile Vibrant soon, and the Epic 4G and Fascinate when they are released.
P.S. Check the 15 second mark for the Kraken reference.
