The Nexus One is now available for those in Australia by way of an exclusive offering with Vodafone. In short, those in Australia are now able to grab a Nexus One and enjoy goodies such as the 3.7 inch 800 x 480 multi-touch display and 5 megapixel camera with video recording. Additionally, the version that has been announced is listed as shipping with Android 2.1. Otherwise, Vodafone is also including a 4GB microSD card with purchase.

In terms of pricing — the Nexus One is free on contract. Which means a two-year agreement on a $79 per month plan for a total contract price of $1,896. Finally, according to Vodafone, the inventory for the Nexus One is “strictly limited.” In other words, those in Australia that have been waiting for the Nexus One to arrive may not want to wait very long before making a purchase.
