The Samsung Acclaim coming available with US Cellular has been the subject of more than a few rumors up until this point. We have seen items ranging from rumored release dates to leaked images. That said, we now have an official availability date which has been posted by US Cellular on their company Facebook page.

According to the details in the posting, the Android-powered Samsung Acclaim will be available in-stores as of July 9th. Unfortunately US Cellular choose to not reveal the pricing as of now, but at least July 9th is not all that far away which means we will not have to wait all that long.

In terms of specs, just to recap a few — the Samsung Acclaim will come touting a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display and have a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Plus, and this one will be good for those who prefer a vanilla Android installation, which in the case of the Acclaim will be Android 2.1.

Otherwise, US Cellular customers can sit tight and wait for July 9th. In the meantime as soon as we find something price related you can be sure we will pass the good (or bad) news on. And finally, US Cellular is going to be giving away 10 Samsung Acclaim phones, which you can hit the link below for more details on their giveaway.
