Samsung, Sprint

The Samsung Galaxy S looks appealing, but we’ve seen time and time again that some people refuse to use any smartphone that doesn’t have a physical keyboard. The Samsung Galaxy S Pro will solve that problem for most people.

The GSP, not to be confused with the intimidating MMA fighter with the same initials, is an intimidating phone of which Android Community just got a spy shot. The photo shows a Galaxy S with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and what’s clearly Sprint branding. There’s no confirmation for any of this, but it seems likely to be heading for Sprint in light of the logo. According to AC, it’s likely to be the second phone capable of running Sprint’s 4G handset where available.

Oh yeah, there’s a front facing camera on the front. You could consider that burying the lead, but my previous experience with Qik leads me to believe that video chat won’t be all that great on the GSP. That keyboard looks pretty interesting, though.
